Bio: Dwight Thompson entered the entertainment industry as a disc jockey in the Swedish university town of Lund and later as manager and D. J. of nightclubs in Malmo and Goteborg, Sweden. Thereafter he owned a nightclub/restaurant in Berlin, Germany and later designed and managed discothèques in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, Spain and Rhodes in Greece. After becoming a singer, Dwight recorded and produced records in Germany, the Benelux and France while performing throughout Europe in a variety of arenas - television, nightclubs, casinos, and festivals.
His first single "My Woman Is Calling" received heavy radio play in Holland and made the Dutch Hit Parade. He followed "My Women Is Calling" with the single "Girls". " Girls" received heavy national radio play in France during the summer of 1984. In 1989, Dwight became the first American radio talent to work at a major French radio station. As the bilingual host of the prime- time Fun Master Dance radio program, Dwight and Fun Radio became the #1 rated station in France and one of the top radio stations in Europe.
